Assembly OF PARISSE abbesses
Chevilly-Larue from 12 to 17 October 2026
About fifty Poor Clares from monasteries in France but also Malta, Hungary, Alexandria, Nazareth and Beirut experienced a handover.
Three federations are now united into one.
The Federation of Our Lady of the Portioncule placed itself under the protection of Mary in this place of the very beginnings of the Franciscan order and the order of the Poor Clares.
We have been helped to welcome this new milestone.
Every morning, a spiritual note from Sister Brigitte de Ronchamp awakened us to novelty. "Divine utopia in the Bible" was the title of his talk.
A day with Brother Eric Bidot, Capuchin and Bishop of Tulle, had the theme "In the momentum of the poor and crucified Christ."
With a new impetus, each sister was able to join her monastery with the joy of the fraternal bonds that weave the life of our unique federation.
